Our association has 10 water berths in Stickenhörn at jetty 10 in the Bay of Kiel, 9 of which are currently used for our members' yachts. The FYC originally emerged from former sailing students from a sailing school who held their courses at the Freiherr vom Stein School in Neumünster. November 16, 1991 was our official founding day with admission to the German Sailing Association. Our main goal was to get interested people out on the water without their own ship at low cost or at cost. The area for our water sports is the Wittensee near Groß Wittensee on the grounds of the water sports club on the Wittensee and, if the weather permits, the Baltic Sea in the Eckernförde Bay. • Hamburgischer Verein Seefahrt Hamburgischer Verein Seefahrt
The club's purpose is to promote the youth and turn them into ambitious off-shore and ocean sailors. From the North Sea to the Baltic, from the South Atlantic to the far oceans, from the Fastnet to trans-atlantic races, in international regattas and countless training and racing trips the Sailing Group Stoertebeker has proudly shown the flag of its parent association the Hamburgischer Verein Seefahrt e.V. (HVS). Under its constitution HVS as the yacht owner makes blue-water sailing yachts available to its Sailing Group Störtebeker where young sailors train and develop inter-personal skills in teamwork, fairness, leadership and, of course, sailing. The HVS strongly believes in a professional approach at every level and ensures that the yachts and their equipment are at or near the state of the art so crew training is always up-to-date. The youngsters learn and practice many skills including hands-on knowledge of racing rules, tactics, sail setting and trimming, navigation, electronics, weather and pilotage. Their skill set becomes the more important as they progress from crew member to watch leader and even skipper of the HVS yacht. Of course there is a lot of fun - foreign ports and far away dream resorts will be "discovered" by the crews. Adventures together create long lasting friendships. Ashore a programme of monthly meetings run by HVS encourages new members to learn about the sailing programme and get involved. Hamburg, Germany

Post SV Berlin was founded in September 1924 as the first post sports club in Germany. In addition to the Olympic Stadium, the Poststadion, the second largest sports facility in Berlin, was built and opened in 1927. In August 1928, the sailing department in the Post Sports Club was founded. Our club has a history of over 88 years. Today we are a modern, open and open-minded department without old constraints and a tradition that corresponds to the 21st century. The fun of sailing, joint celebrations, training courses, regattas, cruising sailing and much more shape our community. Today's life in the club can be followed on this homepage. Berlin, Germany

  • Rostocker Yachtclub e.V. Rostocker Yachtclub e.V.
The Rostock Yacht Club is one of the oldest sailing clubs that have settled on the Warnow. In 2005 the 100th anniversary of the sailing club was proudly celebrated. During this time the association and its members were part of the eventful German history: not only two world wars, but also five different political systems. are behind us. Founded in the German Empire, we have arrived in reunified Germany today. The association has settled on the Unterwarnow in the Rostock district of Gehlsdorf, directly opposite the historically important city harbor. The historical club building, visible from afar, shapes the image of the city, as do the well-tended footbridges that protrude into the Warnow. What the members have in common yesterday and today, in addition to having fun in sailing, is also the desire to achieve set goals together and to actively help shape the life of the club. The association can look back with pride on many successes in the past, which we will continue to work on in the future. The children and young people plays an important role. The youngest members, especially the optimist group and laser sailors, experience diverse support from their own families and the association in order to be able to build on their successes.
