- Wassersportverein Langen
Wassersportverein Langen
Sailing and surfing in southern Hesse - who would have thought... 50 years ago there were a handful of sailing enthusiasts who wanted to make the impossible possible and founded the WSV at Langener Waldsee. Today we are a modern sailing and surfing club in the heart of the Rhine-Main area, equipped with a spacious club facility that does justice to both popular sport and ambitious regatta events with spectacular fields of participants in the inland. From the solid wood H-dinghy from the 1920s to the latest high-tech 14-footer, we have (almost) everything at the start. We can wind glide as well as speed surf. Hesse, Germany

- Weißenburger Segelsportclub
Weißenburger Segelsportclub
The 1st WSC (1st Weissenburger Segelsportclub eV) was founded on June 3rd, 1975 and is one of the traditional clubs in the Franconian Lake District. When it was founded, the large Brombachsee did not even exist. The construction of the dam for the large Brombachsee began in 1983 and lasted until 1999! At the same time as the dam was completed, our clubhouse at the sailing port in Ramsberg was also completed. Today it forms the center of our club life. We meet here every weekend in the summer months to go sailing or just to relax. Some of us also meet on Wednesday evenings for the so-called Wednesday regatta. We also organize regular club evenings and every now and then excursions and non-sailing activities. All age groups are represented in our club, from children and adolescents to young adults to sprightly pensioners! Pleinfeld, Ramsberg district, Germany

Wiesbadener Yacht-Club e.V.
The Wiesbadener Yacht-Club eV was founded in 1958 by a small group of friends with the idea of practicing water sports in the community. By a lucky coincidence, the boathouse was acquired in 1964. With the takeover of the boathouse and the existing home of the club, the club experienced a brilliant boom, became a member of the Schiersteiner club community, joined the German Motor Yacht (DMYV) and the German Sailing Association (DSV) and has been the base of the cruiser department since 1964 of the DSV. In 2013, the WYC was voted water sports club of the year by the DMYV and DSV associations. A large number of children made and continue to have their first sailing experiences in the WYC in the Opti dinghy and are carefully introduced to this sport. Sailing in larger boats is then taught. Cozy evenings, but also large parties and events are traditionally held in the beautiful boathouse and in summer on the large bunk and are an integral part of the community. Wiesbaden, Germany

We are a group of enthusiastic sailors. It is important to us to present a functioning community in which one cares for one another and helps and advises one another. This is only possible if everyone thinks outside the box. The YCL can proudly say this for its members. Families with children can feel comfortable in our youth department. Couples without children enjoy life on the pier. From all of these, a colorful mixture is always conceivable, possible and livable. In addition to our focus on sports and youth, we don't want to miss out on club life. Our event team organizes attractive celebrations and festivities throughout the year. In our beautifully located gastronomy with an excellent view of the lake and direct access to the water, it is also possible to organize private celebrations. Attendorn, Germany

Yachtclub Litzelstetten Mainau E.V.
The YLM club community has been interested in our shared hobby, sailing, for over 50 years. On March 29, 1969, the nine Litzelstetter founding members met to have the joy of sailing in a club community entered in the register of associations in the city of Konstanz. The establishment of an association should promote the common interest in sailing, also for young people, and make it accessible to a wider public. The idea of mutual comradely support forms the foundation of the club and should be further promoted in the future. As in every club, the members of the Yacht Club Litzelstetten-Mainau eV come from the most varied of professional and age groups, which is positive for the community and promotes the interaction between young and old. Sailing has kept many of the older club members so young that they continue to compete in regattas and most of the club's events. Our young sailors also enjoy everything they experience together, and there is a lot to report about in the youth section. Konstanz, Germany
