Step back in time into six "off the grid" authentic wilderness lakeside housekeeping cabins – each with its own unique personality. Cabins have docks, canoes, kayaks, and mountain bikes included at no extra charge so you can enjoy fishing, wildlife watching, and paddling on Spencer Pond. Fishing season here runs from the beginning of May through September 30th. Spencer Pond has great fishing for kids and the occasional hatch produces nice brook trout opportunities. We encourage catch and release unless you plan to catch and eat. Often our guests catch brook trout off the dock, in the summer months, brown bullhead or "hornpout" fishing is good in the evening. Many guest enjoy catching yellow perch and sunfish which are prolific in these waters.
