Open water fishing on Chamberlain Lake of Maine begins at ice-out, around May 5th and closes at the end of September. You can fish for togue (lake trout), brook trout (we still get some brookies, 5 lbs. or better), and whitefish. The best fishing in Maine begins around the end of May and runs through to the first of July. The best method is fly-casting from canoes or wading some of the many streams and rivers in this area which offer fine brook trout fishing, if you hit it right. When you charter Seafari, we'll provide you with a memorable day of Deep Sea Fishing, Scuba Diving, Whale Watching or just relaxing aboard while cruising the river or coast. Private charters aboard Seafari are available from April 1st until the end of November for 1 to 20 people, depending on the type of trip. Our experienced crew provides a safe and enjoyable deep sea fishing experience. Our Captains and Mates are Scuba Instructors or Dive masters and will adhere to Scuba safety regulations as they apply. All certification cards must be available for review upon arrival. There are as many as 20 different locations to explore the underwater world off the nine islands that comprise the Isles Of Shoals. Each area is unique and varies in composition of marine and aquatic life. An encounter with the seals off Duck or Boon Islands is a never to be forgotten experience!
