VI Paddling was created to provide Vancouver Islanders a place to be supported, inspired, and developed as athletes, and as members of our sporting community. We welcome people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities, and are proud to offer the most experienced coaches on Vancouver Island who work with individuals and teams to become the best they can be. We offer training in both recreational and high-performance dragon boat, as well as outrigger canoe and surf-ski (racing style kayaks). The Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club (VCKC) is a recreational paddling club based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The club is a not-for-profit organization devoted to the promotion of safe and skillful paddling on Vancouver Island and in the surrounding waters. The Victoria Youth Paddling Club is a registered non-profit society dedicated to developing, promoting, and running programs leading to fun, fitness, skill development, and competition in kayaking and canoeing. The Club’s operations are supported by a facility and equipment partnership with the Ocean River Paddling Club. We offer a safe, affordable and fun water sports club for youth ages 9 and up. Wailua Outrigger Canoe Club is located on the South Thompson River in beautiful Kamloops, B.C. Canada. Embracing the Hawaiian spirits Wailua stands for the meeting of waters, fitting for endurance oriented paddling on the South and North Thompson Rivers. The club compound is located in Pioneer Park near the boat launch. Wailua Outrigger Canoe Club also offers a division on the Shuswap lake in Blind Bay. Outrigger paddling is a popular fitness activity and provides the opportunity to build strength and endurance over time while enjoying being on the water and in the outdoors. If you enjoy endurance fitness or competitive water sports in the outdoors this club has something to offer!
