    America's Boating Club Waukegan, also known as the Waukegan Sail and Power Squadron is a maritime community built For Boaters, By Boaters®. Our membership consists of people who love boating, including youngsters and old timers, neophytes and old salts, sailors, power boaters, loopers and circumnavigators. A few of us are even into padddling our boats. Most of our members live in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We generally boat on Lake Michigan, but some of our members boat on smaller lakes, such as the Chain 'O Lakes or other regional lakes and rivers. A lot of our members keep their boats in harbors in Waukegan and Winthrop Harbor in Illinois, and Kenosha and Racine in Wisconsin. We provide many opportunities for social activities throughout the year, both on and off the water, including picnics, cruises and get-togethers. Sometimes we hold boating-related training sessions and feature guest speakers either dockside or at our general meetings. We also offer a variety of educational opportunities, including seminars and courses on a variety of subjects. One of our premier classes is America's Boating Course which is an introduction to boating. We do free Vessel Safety Checks in conjunction with the US Coast Guard Auxilliary. Waukegan, Illinois

    Clinton Lake Sailing Association is located next to Clinton Lake Marina, 45 minutes west of Champaign-Urbana, 45 minutes south of Bloomington-Normal and 30 minutes north of Decatur. We are one of the 17 squadrons in Illinois, NW Indiana and SW Wisconsin. A large part of USPS is the educational program. We have a long history of success with our educational activities. Mid Illini earned the Educational Achievement award multiple times.     We are Skokie Valley Sail and Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons. Our members love boating and being on the water. Most of our members reside in Northern Cook, Lake and McHenry Counties in Illinois. They sail out of ports in Lake Michigan, including North Point, Waukegan, Kenosha and Racine harbors, as well as the Chain O'Lakes and the Fox River.
