Lincoln Park Boat Club is the only rowing and paddling club in Chicago which is open to all. Our mission is to make boating accessible, affordable, safe, and fun for club associates and all members of the Chicago metropolitan community. Established in 1971, Prairie State Canoeists (PSC) continues to be one of the Midwest's largest clubs with approximately 300 family memberships. Most members live in the Chicagoland area. The club sponsors over 150 trips a year (flat water and whitewater). Day-trips are common, and multi-day trips may include camping. ACA-certified instructors conduct a series of annual training trips for club members of all skill levels. We cater to all abilities from the beginning fledgling canoeist to the seasoned professional paddler. We are a club of about 40 members consisting of individuals and families who do quite a large variety of paddling.
