Lincoln Park Boat Club is the only rowing and paddling club in Chicago which is open to all. Our mission is to make boating accessible, affordable, safe, and fun for club associates and all members of the Chicago metropolitan community. The LPBC paddling group is made up of competitive and recreational athletes in kayak, canoe, SUP. We have several active rowing teams: sweep and sculling, competitive and recreational. Established in 1971, Prairie State Canoeists (PSC) continues to be one of the Midwest's largest clubs with approximately 300 family memberships. Most members live in the Chicagoland area. The club sponsors over 150 trips a year (flat water and whitewater). Day-trips are common, and multi-day trips may include camping. ACA-certified instructors conduct a series of annual training trips for club members of all skill levels. The club's major concerns are clean rivers, river access, and improving put-ins and take-outs on rivers across the upper Midwest. Plano, Illinois

We are an active club that paddles whitewater and flatwater in canoes, kayaks and sea kayaks. Our current schedule of activities is available and includes trips throughout the midwest. Located in northwestern Illinois - eastern Iowa, USA, where Interstate 80 crosses the Mississippi River, we live in an area known locally as the Quad Cities, comprised of Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, Illinois and Davenport, Iowa.

We cater to all abilities from the beginning fledgling canoeist to the seasoned professional paddler. We are a club of about 40 members consisting of individuals and families who do quite a large variety of paddling.
