    Headquartered in Canada, C.A.S.T. is comprised of two groups: Pacific and Central. We are a professional search and recovery unit dedicated to assisting individuals, justice departments and government agencies world-wide. Whether your loved one is still missing or your region has met with disaster or your agency requires training and advice, CAST is ready and able to provide you with the solutions. The Canadian Amphibious Search Team (C.A.S.T.) is a group of volunteers with the capability of a professional search and recovery team. Our main goal is to assist grieving families when a tragic accident on the water has left a loved one lost. The CAST Central team has about 20 dedicated volunteers and is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our primary areas of service are Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. On request from CAST Pacific, we will assist in British Columbia.

    In 1983 a new group was formed to help saves lives by promoting the exchange of information, developing new search techniques, speeding up the search and analysis process and to show why planning information is so important. SARBC is a non-profit, professional, uniformed organization which is funded by corporate sponsors, service clubs and contributions from the general public. An Operations Center is located in Victoria for all land and inland water requests.
