The Navy Yacht Club Channel Islands (NYCCI) has evolved from the CBC Sailing Club first chartered in 1968. From 1976 to 1997 we were known as the Channel Islands Naval Yacht Club. Then in 1998 we became the Navy Yacht Club Channel Islands. We are a branch of the United States Naval Sailing Association (USNSA) with headquarters at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The purpose of the USNSA and other affiliate branches around the world is to assist the United States Navy in organizing and maintaining a training and recreational sailing program.
