  • Royal Port Dickson Yacht Club
Developed basically as a social and family Club, which it still is today, it was the meeting place of the 'old masters' or Colonialists. Certainly, it was they who brought clubbing to this region. One can well imagine the scene of the small group of members then, sitting around and exchanging views over drinks of Whisky soda, Gin tonic or the then popular Tiger beer. The presence of the sea revived the spirits of a few old sailors, and that was how sailing came into the picture. Today with a membership of around 1,800 and boasting many facilities. The Royal Port Dickson Yacht Club can proudly claim to one of the top social and family oriented clubs in the country. Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

  • Sabah Sailing Association
Sabah Sailing Association or Sail'a was founded in the year 2000 when a need arose to have a body in Sabah to facilitate the growth and development of sailing. After the formation of Sabah Sailing Association, there was finally an umbrella body for the clubs of Sabah as well as, more importantly, an avenue for mon members of private clubs to take up sailing. Sail'a was then able to concentrate on the development of sailing including taking the responsibility to train the Sabah sailing squad for such National events like SUKMA, MSSM and to be a feeder State for National Sailors.
