Our humble Sailing Club is a dedicated sailing club fostered by the vision of six like minded individuals, each themself a yacht owner having a passion for yachting and their meeting of the minds brought about PSCS. We are proudly the type of Sailing Club which scarcely exists these days; it is a sailling club for sailors by sailors dedicated to sailing and to do our part in sharing the fun and skills and develop the future generations of sailors. Located on the northern part of the island of Borneo in the Malasian state of Sabah, the KINABALU YACHT CLUB (or "KYC") is one of the oldest surviving from the colonial era. Sitting next to the Tanjung Aru Beach along the coastal stretch towards the Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort Hotel in the state capital, Kota Kinabalu, the KYC is easily accessible by sea or by road. Through the years, the KYC has seen a number of its sailors particularly the under fifteens emerged from its wings to succeed at National level and also represent Malaysia at international regattas. Located close to the mouth of the Klang River in Port Klang, RSYC is the premiere venue for competitive yachting, sail training, power boating, sea fishing and water sports in the Selangor and the Klang Valley. Our traditional style club house and terrace has fine river views, with local and international boats regularly passing by. We are open to members of the public and the club house provides an ideal venue for weddings, parties and corporate functions, either on the terrace area or in our Kenaga Room. RSYC catering serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and can provide a wide variety of cuisine for group bookings. We also offer a bar, pool and wi-fi in all areas, and comprehensive facilities for boat storage, boat maintenance, launching and on the water pontoons. Although we are the oldest yacht club in the country, RSYC is young at heart and constantly attracting new members, including families, young people and businesses.
