The Ammerland Sailing Club is the second oldest sailing club in Bavaria. It was founded in 1896 by young people from Ammerland and holidaymakers. We are proud of this long history and maintain many traditions to this day. Since 1973, we have been leasing the beautiful property at Südliche Seestraße 24. The property, boathouse, and harbor facilities are a listed historical ensemble. Preserving the charm of this estate is important to us. For many years, one of our special goals has been to instill in children and young people a love of sailing. A whole team of volunteer instructors introduces children and young people to sailing Optimists, 420s, and Lasers, and helps them get started in regatta sailing.
