Zoro's Homepage Rosie and Jim Zoro have left their house in the West Midlands to live aboard "Avalon", a 36 foot Van De Stadt sloop. Starting in November 2000 from Falmouth, they crossed the Atlantic Ocean to reach the Caribbean in April 2001. After some time in the Windward Islands they sailed down to Venezuela, then west via the ABC Islands to Colombia and Panama. After passing through the Panama Canal they sailed south to Equador, thence across the Pacific Ocean via the islands - Galapagos, Marquesas, Tuamotos, French Polynesia, Rarotonga, Nuie, Tonga, to Fiji (in August 2003). Along the way they travelled extensively in Venezuela, Equador, Peru, and flew to Easter Island and New Zealand.
