The Manitoba Underwater Council (M.U.C.) is an association dedicated to the principles of enabling every Manitoban and out of province visitors to participate safely in Manitoba's underwater environment for sport and recreation by: Promoting safe snorkelling and scuba diving in Manitoba; Supporting environmental awareness and responsibility; Supporting underwater competitive and recreational sports; Supporting fitness, fun, and skills upgrading through continued education and training; Supporting local dive clubs, independent instructors and retail dive stores, as training facilities for Manitoba's divers.
