The Couples Series of American Bass Anglers is a unique format. It is a team format for one male and one female angler. As you might expect, many teams are married couples. But, there are also plenty of teams with girlfriend/boyfriend, parent/child, grandparent/grandchild, friends and relatives. The Couples Series blends fun and fellowship with competitive angling. People from every division often comment on the life-long relationships they have developed through the Couples Series. Heartland Anglers mission is to provide an amateur based team trail for the Average Everyday Angler. Heartland Anglers is a Team Tournament for the type of person who gets up everyday, heads to work and puts in a 40 hour work week. Heartland Anglers is for the Weekend Angler who doesn't have time, or can't afford to compete on lakes all across the county as the Pro's do. Heartland Anglers wants to see their Anglers Investment returned to them in cash, prizes and services. Netminders is an outreach ministry of Trinity Assembly in Algood, TN. We sponsor 9 bass tournaments a year throughout Middle Tennessee. This is an open tournament series. You do not need to be a Christian or affiliated with any church; just come as you are! Our tournaments begin with a devotional and prayer, followed by the launch. We have a family environment and some men fish with their wives, sons, or daughters. And kids always fish free. Our tournaments are held on middle Tennessee lakes such as Dale Hollow, Center Hill, Cordell Hull, and Chickamauga. We fish in two-member teams. We pay out 100% of the entry fees plus more because of the generosity of our sponsors. We typically have approximately 250 anglers participate in our tournaments.
