The Nebraska B.A.S.S. Federation (NBF), or currently known as the Nebraska Federation Nation (NFN), is a member of the National B.A.S.S. Chapter Federation. There are currently 51 federations in the United States and over 2,800 clubs with approximately 50,000 members. There are currently 26 affiliated clubs in Nebraska with well over 300 members. B.A.S.S. chapter members are our grass-roots fishermen dedicated to the future of bass fishing. They furnish manpower, money and equipment for lake clean-ups, promote catch-and-release, encourage community involvement, lobby for and against proposed legislation, introduce youth to fishing and even conduct tournament creel census reports.

  • Nebraska Bass Federation Nebraska Bass Federation
We are an independent state organization that is affiliated with The Bass Federation, a national organization of member state federations. The Bass Federation ( TBF ) has existed since 1972, and along with the independent state Federations, has worked to support the grassroots growth of fishing and the growth of the entire sport fishing/outdoors industry. The Bass Federation should not be confused with privately owned B.A.S.S. nor the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation which wasn’t formed until 2006. The Bass Federation (TBF) is the oldest affiliation of state organizations known as the "Federation". The TBF of Nebraska is an non-profit organization operating exclusively for the enjoyment, promotion, preservation, and furthering of the sport of bass fishing with emphasis on youth, conservation, and the hope and thrill of "landing that trophy bass".
