    Join the premiere dragon boat team in Austin. Austin Coolers is the premiere dragon boat team in Austin, Texas. The Coolers began as a mix of interested members from various corporate teams in May 2008. We raced and placed second in our first competition as a team in October 2008 at the Gulf Coast International Dragon Boat Regatta and haven't looked back! In June 2014, Austin Coolers was the first Texas team to race in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Our team is made up of people from all different ages, occupations, and backgrounds. What brings us together is our common passion for the sport, our desire to see the team continue to improve, and an interest to promote the culture of dragon boat. Austin, Texas

    Austin Rowing Club is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to promoting the sport of rowing in Austin, Texas. ARC is a partner of the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department in the management of Waller Creek Boathouse. ARC offers a variety of low-cost and no-cost rowing programs for junior and adult rowers. We offer a variety of trips including day trips, weekend trips, overnight camping trips and expedition trips. The HCC was established in 1964 when a group of interested canoeists got together and talked of organizing a canoe club. The rest is history. The club is run by volunteer members.
