The Ledyard Canoe Club has a long history with whitewater. The club was an olympic training ground early in the history of the sport, and has grown into a large community of whitewater paddlers of all abilities. We lead trips all over the northeast, teach people who have never been in a boat before to roll and read water, and take a yearly spring break trip down to Asheville, North Carolina as well as a winter break trip to Ecuador.
