The Appalachian Mountain Club Boston Paddlers has over 500 paddlers located throughout New England, most of which can be found in the Boston area. Each year from early spring through the fall we run organized paddling trips for canoes and kayaks on both whitewater and flatwater rivers throughout New England. Throughout the spring and summer months we offer a full program of whitewater paddling instruction in kayak, open boat, and C-1. Boston One Dragon Boat Team is a competitive dragon boat club operating out of the Boston Harbor. Founded in 2013 by a group of experienced paddlers, we have since grown to become an elite club. With the sport of competitive bass fishing growing nationwide, Massachusetts Kayak Bassin' was created out of a desire to see the sport continue to spread its roots, particularly in Massachusetts. At the time, back in 2016, only one small tournament trail existed. In the years since, we have become the biggest kayak bass fishing tournament trail in the state, running an eastern and western division, and we will continue to grow in the years to come.
