Welcome to Idaho's Largest Paddling Group! The Idaho Canoe Club has been around for over 20 years and has become a common adventure organization for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy paddlesports, camping, wildlife and friendship. We welcome canoeists and kayakers! Trips are featured nearly every weekend from May through October. From calm flatwater to thrilling whitewater, the club's varied schedule has trips for all abilities and interests. The Club typically does flatwater trips on the Snake and Payette Rivers; Payette Lake, Deadwood Reservoir and the Boise River. The purpose of the Idaho Whitewater Association, Inc. (hereafter, IWA) shall be to promote the appreciation, understanding, and safe recreational use of the whitewater river resources within the State of Idaho among its members and the general public, and to inform the members of issues affecting whitewater rivers and their use. In essence, the IWA is for whitewater boaters, those with a passion and experience and those that want to learn about that passion.
