Boulder Community Rowing, Inc. (BCR) was founded in 2000 to bring a variety of rowing experiences to the Boulder area community. Funding comes from member fees, donations, and other fundraising activities. Offering learn to row programs, training sessions, "Sweep" rowing, and Sculling. Membership includes access to the Boulder Reservoir; with Club Membership, there is no daily entrance fee to the Reservoir (otherwise, the City charges $6.50 per entry for adults). The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club is an organization for paddlers in the Colorado area covering all aspects of paddle sports from flat water to white water with an emphasis on the open canoe. The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club is a collection of individuals who share a common interest in paddling watercraft on rivers, lakes and oceans. The purpose of the club is to provide a framework in which individuals have the opportunity to meet other paddlers, share experiences, gain knowledge, organize trips and cooperatively support causes that result in river preservation, restoration, access and general conservation issues. The Rocky Mountain Sea Kayak Club is a nonprofit organization created to promote an appreciation of the outdoors, good environmental stewardship and the sport of sea kayaking in a safe, friendly and respectful manner. Team Colorado Whitewater Racing Team ("TCWR") is a Colorado non-profit corporation that was established in 2012 to foster and improve competitiveness of paddlers in the state of Colorado and neighboring states in national and international whitewater racing and freestyle competitions. TCWR will work directly with existing whitewater racing clubs, schools and other organizations in Colorado (and perhaps neighboring states) to #1., improve training in competitive whitewater disciplines, #2. hold and support races and events, #3.broaden the reach of whitewater competitions to more youth and young adults, #4. enhance access to hard-to-obtain racing boats, and #5. provide financial and coaching support for racers and freestyle paddlers in national and international competition (including grants to enable travel to elsewhere in the United States, Europe, and other venues for critical competitions).
