The York Sail & Power Squadron, based in York, Pennsylvania, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of recreational boaters on the lakes and rivers of Pennsylvania, the Chesapeake Bay, or wherever your travels take you. We accomplish this by offering America’s Boating Course, which is led by certified instructors who utilize state required boating courses and materials to meet state safety education requirements for boaters and PWC operators. YSPS also offers more advanced boating instruction to those interested in learning about seamanship, piloting, navigation, weather, cruise planning, and a variety of additional courses. When you become a member, you can enjoy the camaraderie of other boaters as we become involved in community service, monthly meetings with interesting speakers, and social events for boating families.
