We are biologists and marine conservation experts committed to preserving marine biodiversity and reducing human impacts on cetaceans, with emphasis on the Mediterranean. We produce publications and disseminate science-based information with focus on factors threatening dolphins and marine life. We monitor dolphin populations to assess abundance, detect trends and identify important habitat. In collaboration with Texas A&M University and OceanCare, we co-teach marine biology courses, supervise students and conduct other education programmes.

International Dolphin Watch (IDW) was founded in 1978 as a non-profit organisation for the observation, conservation and study of dolphins. We contribute data input from a wide variety of dolphin watchers around the world. The Wild Dolphin Project is a non-profit scientific research organization that studies and reports on a specific pod of free ranging Atlantic spotted dolphins (Stenella frontalis).
