  • Buzzards Bay Regatta Buzzards Bay Regatta
Annual One-Design and PHRF Regatta hosted by the Beverly Yacht Club, Marion, Massachusetts. Today the BBR is the largest multi-class regatta in the United States with over 450 boats and 1200 sailors across fifteen different classes. 30 volunteer committee chairs meet throughout the year to plan the three-day event and are joined by over 200 volunteers during regatta weekend. While the regatta has grown in size and reputation, the original goals of the BBR — to attract top-level competitors and race committee officials to our area while allowing Buzzards Bay clubs to come together and compete at a single venue — are being fulfilled many years later. The legacy of this regatta remains to be the unique combination of big boats and dinghies, young adults still learning to race and world class sailors all competing on arguably the best body of water in the world for competitive sailing. We invite you to join us this year to experience this great event.

  • Marion to Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race Marion to Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race
Since its inception in 1977, the Marion-Bermuda Race has been a Corinthian event, and yachts are accepted by invitation. The spirit of the race is that all yachts and crew are participating for the joy and pleasure of sailing, competition, and the camaraderie that accompanies such an off-shore event.
