The 19.4nm race from Castine to Camden will attract a magnificent fleet of Classic and Spirit of Tradition yachts and is the first of three days of racing culminating with the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta on. The Monhegan Island Race is coming up and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Portland Yacht Club for this classic Maine sailing event. A test of patience, strategy, tactics and seamanship, this race is Maine’s premier overnight event. The Monhegan Island Race is an approximately 141 NM course for the die-hard offshore folks.
