    The Erie Power Squadron, started in October 1937, is in USPS District 11 and is located in northwest Pennsylvania, headquartered in Erie, Pa. The area is the home of Lake Erie and the Presque Isle peninsula. The Erie Power Squadron is an organization of boaters who believe in boating fun, safety on the water, and boating education. We teach a public boating course and offer many advanced and elective courses to anyone who wishes to become a member.
