FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.
Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.
.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.1 inches across the eastern Lakes
and Appalachians today will move east to the mid Atlantic
tonight. Meanwhile, low pressure of 29.0 inches across Alberta
will track east to James Bay by Friday evening. A cold front
trailing from this low will move across the lake Friday night with
a 30.1 inch ridge of high pressure building east in the wake of
this cold front. The high will move across the western Great Lakes
over the weekend with a 29.2 inch low forecast to develop over
the Northern Plains Sunday night.

2 to 4 ft.
Tonight - Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt steadily increasing to
gales to 40 kt by daybreak. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.FRIDAY...Southwest gales to 40 kt. Chance of rain in the
afternoon. Waves 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 kt becoming northwest to 30 kt
