Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

Low pressure deepening from 29.70 inches to 29.10 inches will 
track from Texas to the northern Great Lakes by late tonight into
tomorrow morning and James Bay by Sunday night. The associated 
cold front will sweep across Lake Erie early on Sunday. High 
pressure 30.30 inches will move across Ohio and Pennsylvania 
Monday into Tuesday. A warm front will lift north of Lake Erie 
Wednesday. Deepening low pressure 29.40 inches over the 
Mississippi Valley will move toward the western lakes.

.REST OF TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming south. Rain
with a chance of thunderstorms. The lake is mostly ice covered.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to
20 knots. A chance of rain showers early. 
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to
10 to 15 knots. 
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. 
.MONDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. 
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds around 10 knots becoming south. 
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east. A
chance of rain Wednesday night. 
.THURSDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. Rain likely
during the day, then rain likely with a chance of snow Thursday
