Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A strengthening low pressure system, 29.20 inches, will 
move just north of Lake Superior this morning, dragging a cold front 
through the region during the day. Lake-effect will redevelop in the 
wake of the cold front. A ridge of high pressure, 30.10 inches, will 
drift into the region during the day Wednesday. A trough of low 
pressure, 29.90 inches, will advance across the region on 
Thanksgiving Day.

Today - Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming west 10 to 15 knots late in the afternoon. Partly sunny
until late afternoon...then cloudy with light showers likely late in
the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in
the afternoon.

Tonight - Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Cloudy with light snow showers likely early in the evening...then partly cloudy in the late evening and overnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet. .WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Waves 2 feet or less. .WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest 10 to 15 knots early in the morning. Partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet or less. .THURSDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy becoming partly sunny until early evening becoming mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less. .FRIDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of showers. Waves 2 feet or less. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed. .SATURDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots. Mostly cloudy with showers likely.
