Picture One Hundred and Fifty shivering people lined up on the Volunteer Landing Dock just aching to jump into that frigid water! Then, they come up out of that cold water into the freezing wind created by water skiing at high speed behind brand new tournament ski boats by MasterCraft, Malibu, Supra/Moomba and Nautiques by Correct Craft. Our membership includes water skiers from all over, with state and regional champions in all events! We have a beautifully maintained site, with a slalom course now with timing magnets for your Perfect Pass system! and the only jump on Center Hill Lake. Skiers of Knoxville, Incorporated Skiers of Knoxville was chartered on March 8, 1979 with the purposes of promoting boating safety and water skiing. In our first year, the club set up two ski courses, held a tournament, and started the tradition of helping others. In recent years, S.K.I. has become involved with Adaptive Skiing events. S.K.I. is located in the Knoxville area. Our members participate in water skiing, barefooting, wakeboarding and water sports in many forms.
