- Beaver Lake Water Ski Club
Beaver Lake Ski Club was founded in 1990 with the goal of taking a Gates County borrow pit and transforming it into a world class tournament water ski facility. Discovered from aerial photos, the site was the proverbial diamond in the rough. Beaver Lake’s reputation is growing for its great skiing conditions and warm southern hospitality. Skiers from all over the U.S. and several other countries have participated in some of the club’s competitions. Every June, the club hosts a World Record Capability tournament that attracts several pro skiers.

Carolina Show Ski Team, Inc. was founded in 1988. We are a non-profit organization with a mission of promoting the sport of water skiing in a safe, fun-filled, family environment. Our team performs through-out the Carolina region and is based out of Charlotte with members from Lake Norman, Lake Wylie, Lake Hartwell and High Rock Lake.
