  • Nelson Bays Dive Club
The Nelson Bays Dive Club was started by a group of young and not so young enthusiastic divers in June 1997. Five of the fossils still exist in the club today, and are often brought out and dusted off to attend the occasional dive. A wide range of age and experience is represented in the club. The youngest member is 15, while the oldest qualifies for Grey Power. The club currently has one instructor, 6 divemasters, and a rescue diver in its ranks. We are involved with Nelson Surf Lifesaving and provide rescue diver assistance in emergency situations.
