  • Earl of Harrington's Angling Club
The Earl of Harrington's Angling Club is a not-for-profit organisation and we run the club solely for our members. The Club was created by the then Earl of nearby Elvaston Castle in 1912 and he was Chairman of the Club. His Estate included much of the River Derwent to the south of Derby around Borrowash. Our river fishery now extends from some 2 miles north of Derby, above the weir at Darley Abbey, downstream to Borrowash, some 5 miles south of the city. The river offers all aspects of coarse fishing from fast gravelly shallows (specimen chub and barbel) to deep slow stretches (bream, roach, perch, pike, carp) and grayling, brown trout and dace are caught throughout. Double figure barbel, 5lbs+ chub, 8lbs+ bream, double figure pike and 3lbs+ perch are not unusual and anglers targeting any of these specimens stand a very high chance of success. The river also holds river carp and tench which are more difficult to target. Derby, England UK

Just 8 short miles from the beautiful coastal town of Southport is Mere Beck, a haven of tranquility, dedicated to the graceful sport of Fly Fishing. This fishery differs from other stillwaters in that it is a moving water fishery boasting a diverse variety of bankside landscaping to suit most anglers. We stock with Rainbow, Brook, Brown and Blue Trout and offer both sporting and fish tickets. We cater for all levels of fly anglers from expert down to absolute beginner and can offer tuition and tackle hire to get you started. Much of the water is accessible for people with mobility restrictions and we welcome juniors. Mere Brow, Preston, Lancashire, England, UK

  • Mid Kent Fisheries
Established in 1991 under the umbrella of a large utility company, with just one lake and 65 members, we never imagined that 25 years down the line we would have 22 lakes, a previous British carp record and a very successful Environmental Consultancy. We aim to create the best environment for both the wildlife and our members on our fisheries. Going the opposite way to commercialised fisheries, we are keeping MKF as a typical old school fishing club which our members love. Chilham, Kent, England, UK

We are a small friendly game angling club situated in the South West of Cumbria. The peak of Black Combe overlooks the coastal plain and on a clear day the surrounding views are magnificent, from western Scotland, down to North Wales and across to the Isle of Man. The famous landmark of Black Combe forms the central hub of our extensive and varied fishing. The object of the M&DAA shall be to foster interest in all matters connected with game and coarse fishing and to encourage good practice in angling and the preservation of fish.
