The West Virginia B.A.S.S. Nation is a Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) affiliated organization. We consist of Chapters in 3 state regions (Northern, Western & Southeastern) with an elected, volunteer 10-member Board of Directors. We sponsor 5 Buddy Trail, an Invitational, multiple Opens, 3 Regional State Championship Qualifier, 1 High School/Jr. Bassmaster State Championship & 1 State Championship tournaments per year. These tournaments are held at multiple lakes and rivers throughout West Virginia. We are dedicated to promoting bass fishing, fisheries conservation, sportsmanship & youth involvement and are very active in sponsoring projects & events that fulfill these goals.

Big Bend Bassmasters, Ravenswood, WV, is a local bass club dedicated to the weekend tournament angler. Big Bend is an affiliated chapter of the TBF,Inc./FLW and the West Virginia Bass Federation. Big Bend Bassmasters was formed by charter on March 22, 1989. Ravenswood, West Virginia

The Ernie Nester Chapter of Trout Unlimited (ENCTU) was originally founded as the Kanawha Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited (KVCTU) in 1972. Since that time, its members have worked to conserve, protect, and restore coldwater fisheries across the state of West Virginia. The chapter actively participates in projects to study stream chemistry, restore fish habitat, and stock fingerling trout. There is always a good opportunity to get your feet wet every couple of weeks from April to October. ENCTU believes that instilling an interest in fishing and conservation in our kids is essential to make sure our resources are protected in the future. Youth activities include fly casting and fly tying demonstrations at many events around the state and the Trout in the Classroom program. Charleston, West Virginia

Sal font TU understands the need for citizen angler driven conservation on our headwater streams. The Sal font Chapter believes strongly in the mission/vision of Trout Unlimited. We engage and challenge the anglers of Central West Virginia to develop long term projects to improve the watersheds and management of the native and wild trout fisheries in our area. he name "Sal font" is short for Salvelinus fontinalis which is the scientific name for the brook trout. The West Virginia Bass Federation is a state wide organization which formed and affiliated with the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society of Montgomery, Alabama in 1973. Presently, the Federation has approximately 800 members in 64 clubs throughout the State of West Virginia.

The West Virginia Council of Trout Unlimited is a sportsman's network of more than 1,500 volunteers and seven local chapters committed to the TU mission of conserving, protecting and restoring our coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. In addition to supporting its member Chapters, WVCTU allows TU members throughout West Virginia to speak with a unified voice on issues affecting our trout fisheries. We are primarily made up of fishermen and women with a passion for giving back to the resources that provide so much enjoyment for us all. Trout fishing provides a major economic impact to West Virginia and the clean water that they live in is the state's most important natural resource.
