  • Chesapeake Bay Kayak Anglers (CBKA)
    CBKA organizes a Maryland kayak fishing tournament in the Chesapeake Bay to promote conservation and raise money for charities. CBKA was founded in 2010 by several Maryland & Northern Virginia kayak fishing friends when they realized that, although there were well-established kayak fishing tournaments in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and all over the country, there was no Chesapeake Bay kayak angler tournament. Through its annual kayak fishing tournament, CBKA is able to fulfil its goals while providing a fun and educational event for anglers from the MD-DC-VA area and beyond.

    The Fly Fishers of Virginia (FFV) was established in 1982 to promote the art of fly rod fishing; to foster good sportsmanship; and to promote conservation of the nation's natural resources. During the year, six dinner meetings are occasions for informational programs pertaining to the many aspects of fly fishing and conservation activities. Fishing trips are scheduled each year for cold water, warm water, and saltwater species. Fly fishing dinners, seminars, and workshops are booked periodically.
