Rocky Mountain Anglers (RMA) was formed in 1989 by a small group of avid anglers who wanted to learn more about walleye fishing, promote the sport and "give something back" to fishing. The club these anglers established has evolved and strengthened in the years since. After more than a decade, RMA has a solid reputation in the Utah angling community for activism and support. Due in part to RMA's efforts in Utah, walleye management has made great strides and walleye fishing has become increasingly popular. In many respects, the history of The Stonefly Society of the Wasatch is a history of fly fishing in Utah. The Stonefly Society of the Wasatch was accepted as a chapter of the Federation of Fly Fishers in 1978 and subsequently accepted as a chapter of Trout Unlimited later that same year. The Stonefly Society is a group of like-minded anglers that are concerned about conserving fishing and aquatic habitat along Utah's Wasatch range. We enjoy sharing the love of fishing of all styles.
