Barrie Canoe and Kayak Club (formerly the Barrie Canoe Club) is a very active club with approximately two hundred members, located on beautiful Kempenfelt Bay with easy access to some of the best paddling areas in Ontario. Activities include canoeing (moving water and lakewater), kayaking (river kayaking and sea kayaking), racing (marathon and outrigger), hiking, biking, orienteering, skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, winter & summer camping, etc. The many trips organized each year provide an opportunity to make friends and participate with others who are interested in exploring Ontario and North American destinations.
