  • British Canoe Polo
Canoe Polo is a 5 a side, fast and dynamic team sport where players compete to score goals in raised nets. Polo combines paddling and ball handling skills with an exciting contact team game, where tactics and positional play are as important as the speed and fitness of the individual athletes. The ball can be thrown by hand, or flicked with the paddle. Pitches can be set up in swimming pools or any stretch of flat water. Kayaks are specifically designed for Polo and are short and manoeuvrable with padded ends. Paddles are light weight and designed with both pulling power and ball control in mind. Body protection, helmets and faceguards are all compulsory! Within the UK there is a National League structure, with categories for Open, Women's and Youth competitions, with many regional events held throughout the year.

  • Performance Sea Kayak
The Performance Sea Kayak web-site displays various UK + Ireland based sea kayak achievements. We want to recognise the undertakings of those who are out to push their own limits. These paddlers are doing it for the personal challenge, to see what they are made of, or even just for a bit of a laugh. Hopefully some of what you find here may spark ideas and sow seeds of inspiration for more paddling dreams.

  • The Open Canoe Sailing Group
The Open Canoe Sailing Group in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Canoe-sailing began in Britain in the 1860's and within a few years had established itself both in Britain and in the United States of America. During the summer of 1990 the Open Canoe Sailing Group came into being with the publishing of dates for meets and a regular monthly newsletter. It was formed to serve the needs and wishes of its members and to promote expertise and interest in canoe sailing. Although it is really a national "club" for like-minded people, members are keen for it to remain informal, relaxed and sociable. Nevertheless, some members who are so inclined both cruise and compete seriously. Meets are arranged in many different parts of the country in an attempt to provide a variety of experience and a 'local' venue for as many canoe-sailors as possible.
