  • Belfast Canoe & Kayak Club
    Belfast Canoe Club has a long and proud record as the oldest canoeing club in Northern Ireland. Founded in 1960, it had major influence in the setting up and early years of both the Canoe Association of Northern Ireland (CANI) and the Irish Canoe Union (ICU).   • Belfast Kayak Academy
    Belfast Kayak Academy was founded in 2012 with the aim to develop a Paddling club to help increase junior participation in the sport. Club activities are mainly based at Knockbracken Reservoir in Carryduff. We have a number of boats and a good selection of kit that is available for members to use. We are currently seeking statutory approval for a new venue at Ormiston Estate (near the Belmont Road) in Belfast where we will have our own training pool for year round activities.   • Belfast Kayak Club
    The club is open to all members of the public and is intended to promote kayaking and canoeing in a cross community environment. We are mostly non-competitive and we aim to encourage people to feel safe and confident in a white water or sea environment. Over 1000 paddlers hit the water every year on over 200 trips across the North of Ireland, and occasional trips further afield. Although mostly a sea-kayaking club, our members enjoy participating in several of the canoeing or kayaking disciplines: open (canadian) canoeing, white water, playboating (freestyle), surf and sea kayaking are all catered for.   • Belfast Rowing Club
    Tracing its history back to 1842, Belfast Rowing Club is one of Ireland's largest open clubs with over 200 members. It is situated at Hay Island, Stranmillis at the northern end to the Lagan Valley Regional Park. Crews of all ages and abilities train on the sheltered waters of the River Lagan for recreation and competition. Belfast Rowing Club holds an annual "Learn2Row" introductory programme for adult beginners. Belfast Rowing Club are always interested to hear from experienced rowers who wish to join the club.   • Lagan Sculling Club
    The club is keen to develop the sport of sculling by providing excellent sculling opportunities and facilities. Social events at LSC go on all year, with several themed Sunday Lunches all year, and the Club Annual Dinner in February/March. Several major events are held each year.   • Lisburn City Paddlers
    White Water Canoe & Kayak. Lisburn City Paddlers or LCP was formed in October 2008 by a small group of paddlers from the Lisburn and Greater Belfast areas. In 2014 this grew to 85 members and we are now renowned as one of the most active clubs in Northern Ireland. A cross community club, we have members come from all areas and backgrounds with representation from Ukraine and France. A third of our membership is female and we are committed to increasing this.     There are over 100 members at Portadown Boat Club made up of Juniors (aged 12+), Club level (aged 18+) and Masters level (aged 27+). Each year the Club hosts 2 major events in the Rowing Ireland calendar: the Portadown Boat Club Regatta and the Portadown Boat Club Marascull. There has been rowing on the River Bann at Portadown since 1877. Our crews row in singles, doubles, pairs, fours, quads and eights and compete in events throughout Ireland.
