Unlike most clubs, we don't specialize in any particular type of trip, such as whitewater or sea-kayaking.     Carnegie Lake Rowing Association is a community rowing association that has access to Lake Carnegie and Princeton University facilities and equipment by a special arrangement with the University. Our members are of all ages and have a wide range of rowing skills. JSSKA members plan day paddling trips in addition to some overnight and extended trips which offer options for lodging and camping. The Appalachian Mountain Club (New York-North Jersey Chapter) is a non-profit organization providing low-cost canoe and kayak trips and instruction. On most weekends throughout the year, we paddle on quiet water, whitewater and sea kayak trips. Most of our trips are around New York City and New Jersey, but we occasionally travel from Canada to Georgia looking for fun paddling opportunities.     Providing public access to rowing and the river since 1983. NRR was founded in 1983 by a handful of rowing enthusiasts in an array of singles and doubles which they owned individually and carted down to public launch sites on the Navesink River. Their numbers grew gradually over the next 15 years, then dramatically beginning in 1999. Over the years, NRR has introduced hundreds of men and women to the skills, health benefits, teamwork, dedication and discipline that make rowing an exceptional - and lifelong - form of exercise and recreation.
