We are a group of canoeists who appreciate the efficiency, versatility and maneuverability of a well designed canoe and the control provided by the traditional beavertail paddle as developed over countless generations of Native Americans. Unlike most clubs, we don't specialize in any particular type of trip, such as whitewater or sea-kayaking. Carnegie Lake Rowing Association is a community rowing association that has access to Lake Carnegie and Princeton University facilities and equipment by a special arrangement with the University. Our members are of all ages and have a wide range of rowing skills. Incorporated in 1985, the Hackensack River Canoe & Kayak Club encourages canoeing and kayaking with a positive social experience while fostering a spirit of respect and conservation toward our rivers and lakes. The Jersey Shore Sea Kayak Association is a group of paddlers who share a passion for kayaking and seek to promote the sport and its safety through paddling trips and organized events. Over the years, NRR has introduced hundreds of men and women to the skills, health benefits, teamwork, dedication and discipline that make rowing an exceptional - and lifelong - form of exercise and recreation.
