    The club was founded in 1959 with just a few boats racing at 2:00 on Sunday afternoons.     Founded in 1938, OLYC offers one-design racing, a youth sailing school, and social activities. The primary goal of the Okauchee Lake Yacht Club (OLYC) is to promote the sport of sailing and provide a social setting for those with a common interest of Okauchee Lake.
