Fleet 448 began its history in 1981 when a group of catamaran enthusiasts got together and formed a chartered group through the North American Hobie Class Association. The membership has grown over the years to become one of the largest catamaran sailing groups on the East coast. Our members come from all walks of life from youth, students to professionals.
