- Cape Lookout Sail & Power Squadron
We have many things to offer the recreational boater, including many boating courses. New Bern is located at the confluence of the Trent and Neuse Rivers in eastern North Carolina. We are in a great boating location! The Neuse River broadens substantially as it flows from New Bern to Pamlico Sound. The wide, uncrowded, expanses of water in the river and in the sound provide excellent boating opportunities.
