Alton Lake Sailing Association, or ALSA, is a club for catamaran and monohull sailors in the greater St. Louis area. We currently enjoy primarily recreational sailing, but there is always interest in racing as well. Alton Lake describes the pool of the Mississippi river between Alton and Grafton, where the river is much wider, with very little current compared to other parts of the river.
