Long Beach Yacht Club is located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast next to Long Beach Marina in Long Beach, Mississippi. LBYC is a private club established in 1980 for use by its members, their families, and guests. The purpose of this organization is to encourage the sport of boating, promote the science of seamanship and navigation, to sponsor cruises, races, and instruction classes, and to foster a spirit of cooperation and good fellowship.

- Pass Christian Yacht Club
The Pass Christian Yacht Club is known as the birthplace of yachting in the South. The second oldest yacht club in the United States was organized in Pass Christian, Mississippi on July 21, 1849 by a group of Pass Christian and New Orleans yachtsmen. The new club was named the Southern Yacht Club and later became the Pass Christian Yacht Club when the Southern Yacht Club moved to a clubhouse in New Orleans.
