  • Duluth Boat Club
    Today's Duluth Boat Club is a 501c3 nonprofit promoting watersports in the Twin Ports. The DBC supports existing watersports organizations through networking and collaboration. We help new watersports activities get started. The DBC is governed by a board of directors drawn from the rowing, sailing and paddling communities. The Duluth Boat Club is in the process of developing a Watersports Center on Park Point, which will house boats and equipment for the DSSA, various paddling programs, and Dragonboat training activities.     The Minnetonka Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons. We love Sail and Power Boating! The Minnetonka Power Squadron is part of USPS District 10, which serves Minnesota, Wisconsin and a portion of northeastern Iowa and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our Squadron's "base" of operations is Lake Minnetonka in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. From the Twin Cities, our Squadron Members enjoy a wide variety of inland boating: the Great Lakes, major rivers, and a multitude of small and large inland lakes. We've got it all within just a few hours of travel time.     The University of Minnesota Sailing Team is a club sport, sailing in the MCSA and greater ICSA conferences. We practice at the Wayzata Community Sailing Center (WCSC) mainly in 420s, FJs, and Lasers, with some time spent in a range of keel boats including J22s, Sonars, Tom 28s.
