  • Clear Lake Yacht Club
    Clear Lake Yacht Club (CLYC), located in Clear Lake, Iowa was founded in 1935 to promote pleasure and competitive sailing, for all ages. We are comprised of members from the US and international, all who enjoy Clear Lake and sailing. The CLYC sponsors a sailing school, long a backbone for learning sailing skills and bonding new friendships. The CLYC sponsors several sailing fleets, Optimists, X, MC, M17,C, E and Hobie Cats each season, giving sailors ample opportunities to compete and test their skills. Clear Lake, Iowa

  • Iowa Sailing Club
    The University of Iowa Sailing Club (UISC), established in 1965, is one of the oldest student organizations. Its purpose is to promote the sport of sailing by providing boats and sailing instruction and organizing fun sailing related activities for club members. The UISC is open to the public and members sail from April to November on Lake Macbride. The UISC is a very diverse group of people, with many countries (USA, Scotland, China, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, Russia...a very international group), many different occupations represented, and all age groups.     Rathbun Yacht Club is located in southern Iowa on Rathbun Lake (Buck Creek Marina). RYC has a full schedule of year round activities, a comfortable clubhouse with room for social functions, a kitchen for member use, showers, and a deck and gazebo with a great view of the marina. RYC members hail from all over Iowa and surrounding states.   • Red Rock Yacht Club
    Red Rock Yacht Club has been around since 1977 and is open to all who have an interest in boating at Lake Red Rock. The club constructed a shelter in 2000 and maintains it as its primary meeting place and for public use near the Red Rock Marina on the north shore.
