- Belmont Yacht Club, Chicago
The Club is located at the northern end of Belmont Harbor in Chicago. It was founded in 1973 by boating enthusiasts whose common interest was boating and its reward of personal recreation. Through more than thirty years, the Club has shared those rewards with new members who also wanted to participate in a fraternal organization. Membership in the Belmont Yacht Club is open to all who share a common interest and enthusiasm in recreational boating, whether power or sail.

Each month our club presents an interesting program which usually pertains to sailing. We try to make the topics attractive to all sailors by being informative and/or social in nature. Fleet summer activities center around two and three day cruises on weekends and holidays from May (Memorial Day) through mid-September. Lake Bluff Yacht Club is located in Lake Bluff, Illinois along the shore of Lake Michigan north of Chicago. This provides an excellent place to enjoy sailing and learn in many varied sailing conditions. - Waukegan Sail and Power Squadron
The Waukegan Sail and Power Squadron is made up of a lot of ordinary people who love boating. Youngsters and old timers, neophytes and old salts, weekend sailors and circumnavigators make up our membership. Most of our members are drawn from Lake and McHenry Counties in Illinois. The Waukegan Sail and Power Squadron offers several safe boating courses to the public every year. In addition we also provide information to the US government for use in correcting and updating navigation charts.
