    Formed in 1933, membership is restricted restricted to those who enjoy and participate in the sport of sailing. Racing and social activities are offered. The Off Soundings Club is a yacht racing organization with a membership of approximately 500 experienced racing sailors. Most of the membership is based in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Long Island, Massachusetts, New York State, and elsewhere in New England. The club does not operate a shore facility, but concentrates on managing two high-quality weekend race series per year, spring and fall, for its members and their invited guests.     Established in 1905, the Pequonnock Yacht Club moved from its namesake Pequonnock River in Bridgeport to its current location in New Haven in 2009. PYC has expanded significantly in our current location. The Club offers qualified individuals the opportunity to join as either full or associate members. Full members have voting rights in the club’s business, may lease slips and use other marina facilities. Associate members have access to the clubhouse and all its amenities, and may participate in our social events.
