The marina consists of five docks and twenty-three river stakes that can accommodate yachts as large as sixty feet.   • Ensign Fleet 34
    Fleet 34 is a fleet at large consisting of members and associates spanning the shoreline from Niantic, CT to Westerly, RI. Some of our members hail from Ensign Fleet 57 at Thames Yacht Club, New London, or Ensign Fleet 73 at Niantic Bay Yacht Club. Other members belong to one of the many individual yacht clubs that are found along our shores. Races occur primarily on weekends in Fishers Island and Long Island Sounds and are hosted by the parent yacht clubs of our members. We also participate in circuit races of the Eastern Connecticut Sailing Association.

    Currently, there are Championship Races as well as the popular Wednesday Night Races and the Frostbiting sailors are more active than ever. In season, fishermen daily bring their catch to the dock to be prepared for the table. Club fishing contests are run frequently and are extremely popular. An old and valued tradition continues today at the club as the members and Women’s Auxiliary gather on Good Friday to ready the club for the coming season. A grand by-product of this tradition is the wonderful camaraderie experienced and evident as everyone works together to spruce up the grounds and clubhouse.     Formed in 1933, membership is restricted restricted to those who enjoy and participate in the sport of sailing. Racing and social activities are offered. The Off Soundings Club is a yacht racing organization with a membership of approximately 500 experienced racing sailors. Most of the membership is based in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Long Island, Massachusetts, New York State, and elsewhere in New England. The club does not operate a shore facility, but concentrates on managing two high-quality weekend race series per year, spring and fall, for its members and their invited guests.
